The highest court in the land has ruled Northern Ireland's abortion laws are in breach of the UK's own human rights obligations - it is the only place in the UK where women can face up to life in prison for having an abortion. On average, 28 girls and women fly from Northern Ireland to the UK every week to have an abortion.
I designed materials for an Amnesty 'suitcase march' which saw 28 women marching on Parliament to demand abortion be decriminalised. Demonstrators included Derry Girls actors, female MP's such as Stella Creasy and abortion rights activists. They delivered a 62,000-strong petition to Westminster's Northern Ireland Office.
Designed materials included luggage tags, placards and digital graphics.
