Amnesty International UK has a long running refugee campaign, but this particular stunt was in direct response to the number of refugees drowning while trying to get to UK shores. Body bags were lined up along the beach in Brighton to highlight the number of bodies getting washed up. On the same day, an advert ran in a number of national newspapers asking for people to text to sign a petition to Prime Minister David Cameron asking for him to take urgent action.
